Collect	Light Blue (3.2% Sodium Citrate) - Platelet Poor Plasma *Double Centrifuged*
	Transport	Frozen
	Minimum Volume	2.5 mL Frozen Platelet Poor Plasma in a plastic aliquot tube.
	Remarks	Laboratory will not accept unfrozen plasma specimens. Should be centrifuged and frozen within 1 hour of collection. Call for STAT courier if unable to freeze sample.
	Notes	Centrifuge specimen, transfer plasma to a plastic pour-off tube using a plastic pipette. Centrifuge the pour-off tube, transfer plasma to a new plastic tube and label "Plasma".
