Collect	BacT/ALERT® FA (Aerobic) and BacT/ALERT® SN (Anaerobic) Bottles
	Transport	Room Temperature
	Minimum Volume	20 mL blood, using sterile technique. Divide blood evenly between the BacT/ALERT® FA (Aerobic) and BacT/ALERT® SN (Anaerobic) Bottles
	Remarks	If less than 10 mL of blood is obtained, inoculate aerobic resin bottle only. Collection of two blood cultures, taken from different sites, is recommended for the initial evaluation for bacteremia or fungemia.
	Notes	Separate charges for each organism ID and each susceptibility test.
