The mission of the Clinical Research Support division of the hospital laboratories is to provide comprehensive, coordinated resources, education, and clinical trial services to scientists, physicians, investigative teams, research staff and various diagnostic industries.

Project management and Clinical trials.

• Help and Assist various pharmaceutical industries and UMMHC investigators in their biomedical and health related studies in human beings that follow a predefined protocol.
• Clinical validation of developed tests by various manufacturers in both USA and Europe for submission to FDA and various other regulatory agencies. Coordinate Human IRB approvals, data management, clinical review, data support etc.
• Establish a Sample repository Service.
• Animal Testing and Clinical Trials.

Identification and development of new biomarkers, basic and clinical research.

• New Cardiac Markers.
• New Genetic Markers.
• Method development and validation.
• Salivary and Multiplex markers.
